Sue is an experienced interior design academic and practitioner. She has over 30 years post-masters experience having built projects in the UK and internationally. She has worked with furniture designers, architects, and brand consultancies designing UX (user experience), retail and leisure, office, and residential projects.

OVERVIEW
Sue has worked at Ashley Hicks Architects, Susan Minter Design Consultancy, Rejacket, Landor, Sheppard Robsons, Jump, Peter + Pal, and Brinkworth. She started her own practice the Interior Design Agency in 2016.
She has always combined professional practice with teaching and has taught at both MA (Master of Art) and undergraduate levels. She began her teaching career at Kingston University and later taught at London Metropolitan University (MA Cluster Coordinator and MA Interior Design Course Leader, Middlesex University and has been a guest lecturer at Westminster University and the Royal College of Art.
CURRENT RESEARCH
She is a member of the Research Group – Culture and Environment. Her projects explore the use of biomaterials in her practice work with a particular interest in mycelium products. She is a member of Interior Educators.
Most recent research
She is currently working with the Material reGeneration research group investigating how biomaterials can be 3D printed.
