Dr Raszewski is Programme Leader on the MSc Oil and Gas Management (OGM) and Senior Lecturer in the Royal Docks School of Business and Law (RDSBL), University of East London. Before joining UEL, he taught in the School of Public Policy, University College London. Dr Raszewski's research interests lie at the intersection of international political economy and business strategy. He has undertaken research and scholarly activities internationally, including in Alaska, Australia, Azerbaijan, China, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkey. His advisory and consulting experience includes political risk, resource governance and regulation. Slawomir is also an affiliate of the Energy Institute (UK). Dr Raszewski holds a PhD from the University of Leeds and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Dr Raszewski welcomes enquiries from motivated and qualified applicants who are interested in PhD study.

OVERVIEW
Dr Raszewski is Programme Leader on the MSc Oil and Gas with Energy Management (OGEM) and Senior Lecturer in the Royal Docks School of Business and Law (RDSBL), University of East London. Before joining UEL, he taught in the School of Public Policy, University College London.

Most recent research
My latest funded research project is an energy policy report prepared for the Union of the Mediterranean Working Group on Gas, Emission Abatement and Hydrogen.
My previous research projects included a major study on market access which was funded by the Directorate-General for Trade, European Commission (TRADE18/H1/H10).
I was previously a recipient of funding from the British Council’s Newton Fund sources for a sustainability research project focusing on Kazakhstan.
My research into sustainability, adaptation and resilience has impacted national and international stakeholders including industry representatives and policy makers.
I am a frequent commentator on energy and sustainability having featured in several national and international media including in Al Jazeera (Qatar), BBC (UK), CBC TV (Azerbaijan); LBC Radio (UK), TRT World (Türkiye), TVP World (Poland).’
