OVERVIEW
Dr Prabha Parthasarathy is a clinician by training. She completed her M.D in Microbiology from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi in 2003. She subsequently pursued an MSc in Infectious Diseases from the National University of Singapore in 2009. During this time, she led a randomised clinical trial on the impact of Infectious Disease consultation on the management of MRSA bacteraemia. She was instrumental in developing the molecular typing laboratory for the Department of Infectious Diseases. In 2009, Dr Prabha relocated to the UK and decided to pursue her passion for teaching through a full-time teaching position at the University of Sussex and subsequently at Imperial College London.
Over the last 12 years, she introduced several innovative teaching and learning strategies in her modules.
