Philip Clements

Phil is CEO and Director of International Education Network, the Global Centre for Professional Events Management and a Consultant for the Global Impact institute and the National College of Greece.

He has planned and delivered a huge number of events from fundraising dinners to art and cultural exhibitions and sporting events.

He has worked globally on a wide range of projects notably for the Josoor Institute in Qatar, to develop and deliver the training and education to improve and increase the human resource capacity in major sporting events as part of the legacy of the 2022 World Cup. Provided the Malaysian government with vocational courses for early career professionals in the meeting and conference industry, supported the Panamanian government’s Bilingue project in developing in-country training for English teachers, and delivered sessions to the heads of Nigerian Universities on improving University - industry engagement in curriculum content and delivery, and incubation /enterprise hubs on behalf of the British Council.

Currently he is involved in projects in Mauritius, focusing on the development and provision of vocational education and training opportunities in hospitality, tourism and events, in Jordan related to the upskilling of refugees in the areas of entrepreneurship and technology in partnership with state universities, and an NGO, and in Greece the facilitation and development of international partnerships between academic institutions.

He has worked for education institutions in UK, Australia and New Zealand and was the Academic Director of a transnational university campus in India.

Prior to a career in education, he worked in senior management for tour operators in the Mediterranean.
