Pauline de Souza is involved in developing the Cultural Manoeuvres Programme for the Art and Design Cluster alongside her other teaching responsibilities.

Her research interests include computer technology and its relationship with contemporary art practices, especially with curatorial practices.
Her research and experience in the creative industries involves critical discussions of the development and practices of the creative industries.

External roles
Pauline de Souza is the founder and director of Diversity Art Forum which has been involved in national and international projects with important institutions such as the Hayward Gallery, Whitechapel Gallery, Arebyte Gallery, Index-The Swedish Contemporary Art Foundation and The Power Plant-Contemporary Art Gallery in Canada. She is the Ambassador for the arts organisation Procreate and is a member of the Tate British Art Network.
CURRENT RESEARCH
Pauline de Souza is a member of Tate British Artist Network's two Sub-Groups, Black British Art, Feminism and Contemporary Art.
She writes about contemporary art, its connection with technology and social concerns. Her interest in art and design pedagogy has resulted in publications in this area.
