Liliana is a research assistant at ICC with a background in Psychology and clinical experience. She has a strong interest in reducing health and social inequalities and promoting diversity and well-being among disadvantaged communities.

Liliana is a Research Assistant and qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with clinical experience in Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services. She has conducted assessments and delivered low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)–based guided self-help interventions to individuals and groups experiencing common mental health difficulties.
Liliana holds an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. Her professional experience includes:
- Supporting children and families from diverse cultural contexts
- Working with adults with mental health and learning difficulties
- Promoting independence, resilience, and psychological wellbeing
EXTERNAL ROLES
- Co-funder and Co-director at Latino Wellbeing Circle CIC
Liliana is a co-founder of a Community Interest Company (CIC) that delivers regular psychoeducational workshops for Latin American women in London, aimed at promoting self-awareness and mental wellbeing. This work considers the cultural context, addresses language barriers, ensures accessibility and inclusivity, and responds to the specific needs of the Latin American community.
RESEARCH ACTIVITY
In her current role, Liliana contributes to both quantitative and qualitative research within multidisciplinary teams. She supports the design, delivery, and analysis of research that informs policy, practice, and service development.
Her work places a strong emphasis on community-engaged research, ensuring that the voices and lived experiences of diverse and marginalised communities are meaningfully represented. Through this work, she contributes to identifying and monitoring structural inequalities and to developing evidence-based approaches that promote equity and inclusion.
