Lape is a broadcaster with a focus on representation, screen production and industry collaboration. She has a passion for creative storytelling, and innovation in media, all of which are embedded into her teaching practices. Lape is particularly renowned for her impactful storytelling on pressing human and socio-economic issues. Her work has led to in-depth reports and documentaries on topics such as child domestic labour in West Africa, mental health in developing countries, entrepreneurship, and race relations. These projects have not only raised awareness but have also driven lasting change, cementing her reputation as a committed and influential journalist and storyteller.
