Dr Kazi Jubaer Tansen is a Lecturer and Researcher in the Department of Computer Science and Digital Technologies at the School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering. His academic journey, complemented by professional expertise, reflects a deep commitment to advancing technology education and research. Having achieved a PhD in Computer Science specialising in Blockchain, alongside an MSc in Information Security and Digital Forensics and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, he brings a unique blend of technical insight and applied knowledge to his work. Dr Tansen leads and teaches a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules, cultivating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that empowers students to develop practical skills, analytical thinking, and research capability.
His research aims to bridge academic innovation with real-world impact, advancing responsible, transparent, and ethical technologies that strengthen digital trust and contribute to a more secure, equitable and sustainable digital future. Dr Tansen has comprehensive experience in academic supervision, having guided numerous BSc and MSc students. He is currently accepting new PhD students and is open to discussing potential research directions and innovative project ideas.
