John Paul is a senior lecturer in Strategy and Responsible Management at the Royal Docks School of Business and Law. He teaches strategy, innovation, partnership-working, and business simulations, and supervises research projects from BSc to MSc and MBA level.
OVERVIEW
Previously John Paul was a senior lecturer at Bath Spa University. Before this he worked as a consultant with various international organisations from public, private and third sectors (e.g. The World Bank, DfID, The Partnering initiative, Unilever); as a researcher at The British Red Cross, as a Research Fellow at The Open University where he won a two-year SAMS/ESRC Management and Business Development fellowship to investigate governance as a lens to look at the relationship between public, private and third sector organisations, and investigating group dynamics in new product development collaborations to gain his PhD from the University of Bath.
John Paul's research centres on strategy, governance, innovation and inter-organisational collaboration (IOC). This covers public, private and third sectors, within the UK and internationally, and investigates dynamics, processes, tensions and multi-level interactions that help or hinder success (individual, project, organization and collaboration).
