OVERVIEW
Jason Forrest (BA Hons Pg. Cert & FHEA) is the course leader for the BA Hons Undergraduate Fashion Marketing course at UEL. Jason is responsible for the delivery & management across all three years, by ensuring the student experience is aligned with the universities strategic plan Vision 2028. Having worked within the Fashion Industry for over two decades in visual Merchandising. Jason is currently a freelance consultant to established & emerging brands on-brand presentation.
Jason has an invested interest in curriculum design, employability, social justice & spatial design. He works with UEL and external stakeholders to develop collaborative opportunities between students & industry. To leverage student employability relevant to the changing landscape of Fashion Marketing.
This has been evident within the previous institutions he has worked i.e.: Fashion Retail Academy London & Nottingham Trent University. Furthermore, Jason is a member of the external network, Fashion Academic Creating Equality (FACE) his role as community coordinator, contributed to supporting the diverse perspectives from black & brown academic & industry stakeholders to support the changes required, within the higher educational curriculum.
