OVERVIEW
Fahimeh Jafari received her PhD in Electronic and Computer Systems from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, in 2015. She worked on the analysis and management of communication in On-Chip Networks to find out if the design of communication networks between devices on a chip can meet the criteria of real-time applications. The research progressed to providing a Design Optimisation Tool for NoC designers to provide effective guarantees of real-time performance for applications with different priorities via intelligent sharing of resources.
In 2015, she joined, as a Post-Doctoral Teaching Fellow, the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Liverpool Hope University and, in less than one year, became a Lecturer at Liverpool Hope University and received the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE) and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). In 2016, Fahimeh moved to UEL as a Lecturer and later became a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for MSc Computer Science. She is currently the Postgraduate Research Lead for Computer Science and Digital Technology and the Year Tutor for MSc Computer Science. She is supervising several BSc, MSc, and PhD students in the subject of Data Communication, Big Data and Machine learning.
