OVERVIEW

Dr Doirean Wilson is an Associate Professor in Sustainability Management, the Director of the University of East London’s Academy of Policing & Criminal Justice, a Co-Director of the Noon Centre, and a Royal Docks School of Business and Law Sustainability Champion. She is a multiple award-winning diversity and leadership expert, who in 2024 was awarded a King's Award for Excellence for having met the highest standards of excellence as a Women Leadership Influencer.

She also received a UN Global Peace Council London Award of Excellence (2024), a British Empire Medal in the King's Honours List 2025 for her EDI work in education, and she ranked 7th most Influential HR Thought Thinker by the eminent HR Magazine in 2024. Doirean is an educator, a leader, a qualified professional coach and an author of published academic works.
