Dr Deborah A. Lee is Programme Director for the BSc Counselling, leading the degree course, and line managing BSc Counselling staff.
Dr Lee is a UKCP-Registered person-centred psychotherapist, and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), with current research interests in teaching, learning and assessing in counselling and psychotherapy. With Pete Sanders, she co-authored the new 4th edition of Step in to Study Counselling and Psychotherapy: A student's guide to tackling training and course assignments, PCCS Books, 2022 .

OVERVIEW
Dr Deborah A. Lee is Programme Director for the BSc Counselling, leading the degree course, and line managing BSc (Hons) Counselling staff.
Dr Lee is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and has previously led undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses at the University of Salford, Nottingham Trent University, and the University of Derby.
Deborah is a UKCP-Registered person-centred psychotherapist, a member of the BACP, and an accredited member of NCS. She has a small private practice, primarily via the Free Psychotherapy Network.
Dr Lee's current area of interest is teaching, learning and assessing in counselling and psychotherapy. With Pete Sanders, she co-authored the new 4th edition of Step in to Study Counselling and Psychotherapy: A student's guide to tackling training and course assignments, PCCS Books, 2022.
