Dr Beverley Preddie is a senior lecturer in accounting and finance. Her educational qualifications include PhD (Accounting, Finance and Governance), a BA in Business and English Studies, an MSc in Information Management and Finance, an MA in Education and a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education.
OVERVIEW
Dr Beverley Preddie is a senior lecturer at the Royal Docks School of Business and Law. With several years of teaching experience within further and higher education, Beverley is committed to enhancing the teaching quality and the learning experience of students within higher education. As such, her professional qualifications include being a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Approved Teacher Status with the British Dyslexia Association. Beverley is an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) and seeks to contribute significantly to the promotion of social cohesion and social mobility through research and quality education.
CURRENT RESEARCH
Beverley’s current research interests include ageing and the life course, retirement planning and pensions, social policy, labour economics, corporate governance and corporate finance.
