OVERVIEW
After qualifying in 1992, I worked for the NHS as a podiatrist for 12 years. My area of clinical speciality is podiatric biomechanics and orthotics manufacture and I joined the teaching team at UEL as a senior lecturer in 2004. In my current role, I combine teaching, podiatric biomechanics, anatomy and clinical practice with research into the impact of early rheumatoid arthritis on the biomechanical function of the lower limb.
