Dr Macklin said,
This achievement is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our team members, as well as the unwavering commitment of our institution to the advancement of youth work education. We are proud of that our work has been validated by the NYA and remain steadfast in our pursuit of academic excellence and innovation."
Students and employer partners reserved special praised the exemplary teaching provided by Principal Lecturer Paul Adams and Dr Tracie Trimmer-Platman, with particular acclaim for Mr Adams’ innovative 15-minute recap videos. Additionally, the inspectors commended Dr Trimmer-Platman's burgeoning research profile, recognising its valuable contribution to the course curriculum.
The inspectors lauded the university's commitment to youth work education in general and its innovative partnership with the London Borough of Newham, underscoring the institution's forward-thinking approach to pedagogy and careers-first community engagement.
