RDSBL achieves success in latest National Student Survey

The Royal Docks School of Business and Law (RDSBL) has achieved remarkable success in the latest National Student Survey (NSS). The survey results highlight RDSBL's outstanding performance, with several courses rated as the best in the country in specific categories and others excelling compared to all other London universities.
The NSS is an extensive survey managed by the Office for Students, covering nearly 350,000 students across the UK. It assesses a range of factors, including academic experience, teaching quality, assessments, and mental wellbeing services. UEL secured one of the highest spots for overall positivity among all major UK institutions, reflecting its distinctive approach to education that equips students with the skills and knowledge needed for successful careers.
RDSBL's Notable Achievements include:
Business Management
UEL was rated 1st out of all UK universities for satisfaction with 'assessment and feedback' in Business Management.
Business Management was also rated 1st in London universities for ‘teaching on my course’, ‘academic support’ and ‘learning resources.’
Marketing
UEL was rated 1st of all London universities for satisfaction with "teaching on my course'.
Marketing also rated 1st in London universities for ‘teaching on my course’ , ‘academic support’ and ‘organisation & management
Accounting & Finance
UEL Accounting & Finance students gave ‘teaching on my course’ and ‘assessment & feedback’ a 95% positivity score and ‘academic support’ 97.5% positivity score. This puts UEL's Accounting courses in the top quartile of all universities in the UK for satisfaction with teaching, and the top 20% nationally for satisfaction with assessment.
Law
UEL rated 2nd in London universities for satisfaction with 'assessment in Law' and was ranked 2nd for 'learning opportunities' and rated 2nd for 'student voice' scores
IoHT
IoHT are the 1st Hospitality and Tourism School and Department in the Country for 'learning opportunities' , ‘wellbeing support and "freedom of expression’. IoHT are also 1st in London for "Teaching on my Course" and in the Top 3 in London in every category.

“The Learning Opportunities demonstrates how much work the academic team in IoHT do to ensure that the students have access to industry professionals within the Hospitality, Events and Tourism sectors. Through trips, speakers, internship opportunities and ensuring that our modules are current and relevant.”
