Legal Advice Centre hosts "Tea with Timms"

Stephen Timms MP (Labour Member of Parliament for East Ham) met with Legal Advice Centre (LAC) staff and students at the 'Tea with Timms' event on Friday 25 February.

The Director of the Legal Advice Centre, Saadiya Ahmad said, "A great afternoon of conversation and cake, with the Right Hon Stephen Timms, our amazing MP. It was an honour to have you over for tea at the Legal Advice Centre. The session was informative, encouraging and inspiring."

Students and LAC volunteers engaged with the local MP discussing their experience working at the LAC, current studies, their learning and future hopes for their careers in law.

Following the event, Professor Mohammad Ali and Dean of the Royal Docks School of Business & Law (RDSBL) said, "It was an honour to host you Steven Timms MP. Our students loved the interactions with you and learnt a lot from the event. Thanks for everything you do to help develop our students."
