UEL marketing degrees receive record number of accreditations from industry bodies

UEL are pleased to announce that the BSc Marketing and BSc Marketing (Data Analytics) are now both accredited by the Institute of Data & Marketing. This is in addition to the accreditation received from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
The new MSc Marketing has achieved triple accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Institute of Data & Marketing and the Market Research Society (the latter of which is only available to postgraduate courses with an emphasis upon research)
Samantha Driscoll at Market Research Society said:
MRS is delighted to accredit the University of East London MSc Marketing Programme as an MRS Accredited Masters Degree - providing recognition of the programme content and the study undertaken by students on the programme enabling on successful completion and with three years' relevant research experience for students to become Certified Member of MRS"
Kate Burnett at the IDM said: "IDM is delighted to be working with UEL by accrediting both their undergraduate and postgraduate marketing degrees. The accreditation shows the University to be supporting its students with degrees that meet professional standards but also enhancing their employability with opportunities to connect with industry."
Philip Preston, Volunteer Partnerships Manager, Chartered Institute of Marketing said "The MSc Marketing has subject content that is essential for students wishing to acquire the advanced knowledge and skills needed to attain senior roles within marketing. The Strategic Marketing Management and Consumers, Markets and Cultures modules studied in the first term align perfectly with the CIM's core Professional Marketing Competencies of Insights, Customer Focus and Strategy, which sit at the heart of marketing regardless of role, industry or career stage."
All degree and postgraduate degree courses are taught under the Royal Docks School of Business and Law at the USS campus. The Strategy and Analytics lab was recently opened at USS sponsored by Amazon Web Services.
