Paul is also the author of The Psychology of Effective Studying: How to Succeed in Your Degree. As a first-generation university student, he is passionate about empowering all students to succeed at degree level. He believes that helping students study more effectively is one of psychology's most important, yet unsung, benefits to society. Dr Paul Penn is a fellow of Advance HE , a Chartered Psychologist and leader of the forthcoming Cyberpsychology BSc programme at UEL. He is also working on projects to develop a YouTube channel where students from all disciplines can gain access to free advice on how to study effectively.
