Following the success of our biggest Alumni Big Weekend yet, we are excited to announce the return of UEL Alumni Big Weekend from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 August 2026.

The Alumni Big Weekend is one of UEL’s flagship events, bringing our global alumni community together for a weekend of inspiration, networking and celebration. It provides graduates with the opportunity to reconnect with old friends, build new relationships and continue their lifelong connection with the University.
In 2025, over 120 graduates joined us for three days of activities, conversations and memorable experiences. Building on this success, the 2026 event will once again celebrate the strength of our alumni community and create opportunities for graduates to engage, connect and share experiences.
Alumni Big Weekend 2026 will feature a varied programme designed to bring our community together, with opportunities for networking, inspiring conversations, creative activities, wellbeing experiences and professional development. Guests can look forward to experiences including creative workshops, networking sessions, opportunities to connect with teams from across the University, wellbeing activities, career-focused discussions and our Gala Dinner celebration.
The weekend will also include opportunities to explore the support and opportunities available to UEL graduates, including connections with University services, fellow alumni and professionals across different industries.
Whether reconnecting with old friends, discovering new opportunities or taking part in something creative and inspiring, Alumni Big Weekend is a chance for our graduates to celebrate their shared UEL experience and continue building connections long after graduation.
Tickets are available now, with a range of options available to suit different ways of attending, including residential packages, full weekend access, individual day tickets and Gala Dinner-only options. Ticket inclusions vary depending on the option selected, with further details available when booking.
As with previous years, funds raised through ticket sales will contribute directly to the UEL Alumni Hardship Bursary, helping provide additional financial support to students facing financial challenges and supporting them to continue their higher education journey.
We encourage colleagues to share the event with alumni within their networks and help us continue strengthening the lifelong relationship between UEL and its global graduate community.
