Fourth Annual Menstruation Research Network Conference
This year’s conference theme: Dignity, Health, and Inequalities, will explore how social, cultural, and economic disparities shape menstrual experiences globally.
The programme will include keynote speakers such as Professor Helen Weiss (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine) tbc, Professor Toby Richards (University of East London) alongside thought-provoking plenary sessions, interactive workshops, and creative showcases designed to address stigma, health challenges, and innovative solutions for menstrual equity. Together, we will unpack key issues, share diverse perspectives, and foster actionable strategies to advance menstrual health and dignity worldwide.
The conference is coordinated by Professor Meera Tiwari (University of East London), Abigail Lennox (University of East London ERSC-funded Doctoral Student), and the National MRN Committee, which includes Professor Bettina Bildhauer (University of St Andrews), Dr Camilla Mørk Røstvik (University of St Andrews), Professor Kay Standing (Liverpool John Moores University), Dr Bee Hughes (Liverpool John Moores University), Dr Gemma Sharp (University of Exeter), and Dr Chi Eziefula (Brighton and Sussex Medical School).
