Our historic Stratford campus is located in one of the best-connected areas of London: close to Stratford’s thriving town centre, the 2012 Olympic Park, and just 15 minutes from London’s West End.

Stratford’s facilities include: a new library and learning centre, upgraded laboratories and computing services. Student support hub and the Centre for Clinical Education in Podiatry, Physiotherapy and Sports Science are housed in new buildings. There is also a campus restaurant and bookshop, and a Students’ Union café-bar.

Not forgetting, Westfield Stratford City - Europe’s largest indoor shopping mall - is just one of Stratford’s attractions, alongside many other shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. There are two multiscreen cinemas, a theatre, an arts centre and much more. So there's always plenty to do here.

    Stratford Campus

Our waterfront Docklands campus provides a modern, well-equipped learning environment, with lecture theatres and seminar rooms, a 24/7 library and learning centre, and a multimedia production centre - complete with audio and visual labs and studios. UEL is one of the few London universities to provide on-campus accommodation. Our Docklands Student Village houses over 1,200 students, as well as shops and a launderette.

Our lucky Sports Science students are taught here at Docklands in our £21m SportsDock- a world-class teaching facility which was home to Team USA during the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It really is a fantastic learning facility which features two huge, multi-purpose indoor sports arenas and a fully equipped strength and conditioning room. It's no surprise that top athletes take advantage of our amazing facilities and come to study with us.

    Docklands Campus

We’re one of the very few universities in London to offer on-campus accommodation. Our stunning waterfront Student Village is convenient, secure and comfortable - and living on campus is a great way to make friends.

The West Student Village was designed by award-winning architect Edward Cullinan in celebration of the area’s shipping heritage. The distinctive circular halls follow a nautical theme. It comprises Ailsa House, Clare House, Felix House, Jamilah House and Kwame House. Among the newest university accommodation in London, the East Student Village is located adjacent to UEL’s SportsDock. A number of the living areas and kitchens have excellent panoramic views across the dock area.
