Clearing is open

This school has the practical learning experience. So it's more close to the industry. They provide a lot of guidance and like to support us if it's good location and good connection to London. It's a friendly environment. 

You can see people from different cultures. For me for example, I would be worried that oh I'm from somewhere else like different continent and I'm from China. I don't feel worried about it because everyone in my class, everyone is from different culture. So I think it's a comfortable environment for me. 

Yeah, I think it's a it's a really like amazing experience and really nice place to be. We're a big family.

In Georgia. I used to work as a journalist. My story looked like a movie. [Music] Hello, my name is George. I am from Georgia and I'm an MA Acting student for screen and stage. And this is where I belong.

We are in acting class right now.

When I moved in UK a few months ago, I started missing my family, friends, environment where I grow up.

But mostly I missed the food, Georgian food. I think we have the best cuisine in the world. Maybe I am Georgian, that's why I think like that. But still, you know, I have really nice flatmates. I love them. We trust each other and and really I'm lucky because I live in an accommodation where people from different countries live and I have really good possibilities, opportunities to communicate with them and make friends from all around the world and that's a really nice and beautiful thing.

I did my undergraduate degree in architecture in Nigeria and I felt like that was enough for me. Hi, my name is Olumide Adebimpe. I'm from Nigeria. I'm currently doing my masters in architecture at UEL and this is where I belong.

I came to UEL with the hopes of, you know, being able to explore my architectural desires, all the imaginations I had in my mind. I was looking for a university that would help me to put it in reality. And when I got to UEL, they did not disappoint me.

I made this model with the help of the wood workshop. I know it looks a little patchy, but we're all learning how to make models here.

When architecture starts to get overwhelming, which it will, and when the whole fast-paced nature of London itself just starts to get a lot, I try to find a place where I can just be me for a second where I can take some few doses of fresh air. And I find Royal Victoria to be the place. I don't know if you could tell, but I really like water.

The one thing that my mom has always told me is that change is the only constant and that has really stuck by me till now and UEL has made me part of that change. Hey guys, I'm Sangeet Kaur. I'm from Malaysia and I'm currently studying undergrad in Data Science and AI and I belong here.

I was just researching online, and I found this place interesting because I saw that they offered data science and AI. I was thinking if I didn't like data science then I would potentially move into AI and that would basically give me the security because AI is the future. [Music]

I'm from the Sikh community and I come here every Saturday or Sunday. It just depends. So this is basically the place of worship. We bow down to the Guru Granth Sahib which is basically the holy book. I usually just sit down here for like 10 or 15 minutes sometimes more than that because it just gives me a lot of peace being in the quiet area.
