With the talk of employment crisis dominating the airwaves at the moment, it's easy to see graduation as something to panic about rather than an achievement. But keep your wits about you and do not fret: you just need the right training and support to let your talent shine. UEL is with you every step of the way, and UEL Skills Academy has a fantastic opportunity for you to undertake a programme of rigorous bespoke employability training which will give you that polished edge and aid in securing that elusive first graduate position. The sessions available to graduates are:

• Self Management/Leadership

• Businesses/Commercial Awareness

• Various IT tests to ensure you are at the right level of computer literacy

• Communication Skills Verbal

• Communication Skills Written

• Presenting Positive Image

We currently have amazing paid internship vacancies within various sectors including media, business marketing, finance and more. We are looking for dynamic UEL graduates to fill them for up to eight weeks to put your skills and abilities to use, and help you gain valuable work experience to boost your CV.

Throughout your time with the Skills Academy you will have the opportunity to meet qualified and experienced careers consultants who will help you create a personalised plan of action for your to move forward after graduation.

And to current second year students who haven't made up their minds as to what they would like to do in the summer: why not get some work experience under your belt?
