Ideas

Eureka!

Climate change is one of the biggest threats to the future of the planet and poses a huge challenge for London. That's why we must act now to reduce our emissions and adapt to the changes climate change will bring.

The 2013 Mayor's Low Carbon Prize, in partnership with Siemens, is looking for innovative ideas from London's students to help us slash London's CO2 emissions by 60 per cent by 2025. Do you have a vision about how to make things better? Can you back up your genius idea with practical suggestions as to how to implement it? Put pen to paper and start brainstorming: this might just be your day.

Enter and you could win a share of the £20k development fund to help you realise your carbon saving idea. If shortlisted, you'll also be considered by Siemens for a paid internship opportunity, which will boost your career and give you valuable industry experience. The closing date for submitting your entry is Friday 17 May at 12pm, so get to work!

You have to be living in London to enter. Find all the details here.
