About Health
At UEL we have a long history of educating Health Professionals. We were the first university to offer Physiotherapy as a degree programme and are the only university in London and the south east to offer Podiatric Medicine. We also prepare students to work in non-clinical health roles including Public Health, Health Promotion and Health Services Management.
Health courses are based at the UEL Stratford Campus where we are equipped with up to date research and teaching facilities including a purpose built Clinical Education Building. Within the School health is split into two fields:
- Health Studies
- Professional Health Sciences: Physiotherapy & Podiatry.
We have close links with NHS partners across London and our programmes have been designed in collaboration with relevant health care bodies and associations, all with future graduate employment in mind. We have an extensive range of placements for Physiotherapy and Podiatric medicine students across London and the south east, allowing them to gain experience in the working environment.
