Creative courses at UEL are offered at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and cover a broad range of disciplines, from fashion, film, fine art and media, to digital arts and communications, games design and animation, music, theatre and dance, creative writing, cultural and heritage studies, and journalism and advertising.
All our courses are taught by lecturers who are active researchers and experienced professional practitioners and we have close links with employers and leading organisations across the arts, cultural and creative industries. Students on all our creative industries’ courses have the opportunity for work based projects and work experience.
Our students have access to a huge range of resources which include studios, exhibition areas, printmaking workshops, a multimedia production centre, photographic dark rooms, fashion and textile workshops, performance and dance areas. We aim to enable students to push boundaries and maximise academic and creative potential so that they are prepared for a rewarding working life in the arts sector and the cultural and creative industries.
