Contemporary photography has blurred the boundaries between professional and artistic photographic imaging and practices. Photographers now operate as creative practitioners, cross-referencing complex languages, histories and discourses in art and design to produce works for both editorial purposes and the gallery.
This programme encourages you to engage in a wide variety of approaches to photographic practice by providing both theoretical context and practical skills in lens-based camera work, studio and location activity, and specialist film processing and post production, as well as opportunities for colour printing. We also support the development and integration of digital imaging, processing, manipulation and production techniques and the expansion of photographic media.
The BA (Hons) Photography is an Association of Photographers affiliated course and students qualify for AOP Student at a discounted price of nearly 30%.
