I joined UELconnect in January 2011 as Flexible Learning Academic Manager, responsible for programme delivery and support for our distance, work-based and blended learning programmes.
Following initial work in a university library and academic bookselling and publishing, I joined the Open University to develop the marketing of open learning materials. Over 15 years I developed a range of UK and international partnerships for distance learning across all curriculum areas, and set up an e-learning consultancy for corporate customers.
More recently I was Principal of a private vocational college of Chinese medicine in North London. This provided an introduction to UEL, who validated one of the degree programmes there.
I am excited to be joining UEL connect at this point, and to have the opportunity to develop delivery of flexible learning here, as part of the Transformation for Excellence.
