I joined UELconnect in November 2008 as a Distance Learning Administrator. My role changed in October 2010 due to a change in the relationship with one of our Collaborative Partners. It is now to manage and to co-ordinate the assessment process for distance learning students. It entails every part of the process from examination organisation to ensuring that we process distance learning student awards with the Schools. This is a vast undertaking in itself. As a consequence, there are three additional members of staff within the Assessment Team that I also line manage on a day-to-day basis.
Prior to joining UELconnect, I worked in administrative and supervisory roles within the NHS and another HE institution.
