Short courses take place at our both our Docklands and Stratford campuses as wells the Barking Learning Centre

Our Docklands Campus is located on the waterfront of the Royal Albert Dock. It is served by Cyprus DLR, providing fast and efficient connections to the rest of the capital. This is an ultra-modern and inspiring educational environment with large, comfortable lecture theatres, specially-designed studios and state-of-the-art multimedia learning resource and production centres. The campus includes a stunning new multimedia library, with 24/7 access and a 600-station, fully networked computing hall.

Our Stratford Campus is at the heart of one of London’s most exciting and rapidly developing districts and within 30 minutes of Central London. Stratford is already renowned for its history, culture and nightlife. It is benefiting dramatically from its selection as site of the London 2012 Olympics and the new Stratford International Rail station will improve its already excellent transport links still further. Facilities at our Stratford Campus include a 24/7 multimedia library, well-equipped studios, laboratories and workshops, and a Virtual Reality Lab. The campus has a new 250-seat lecture theatre in the Great Hall and Education Centre and a new Computer Hall offering increased access to networked PCs and state-of-the-art learning and teaching resources.

Some of our short courses are run at the Barking Learning Centre. Developed in partnership with the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, its Adult College and Barking College, this landmark building is right in the heart of the town centre. Here UEL offers you everything from tasters and short courses to foundation degrees and career development courses in a relaxed and accessible setting within your own community.
