What is a taught course?

Through detailed study, our taught postgraduate courses give you the opportunity to enhance your CV by allowing you to build upon your first degree or increase your skill and knowledge base within a specific area. It’s the perfect way to get that competitive edge in the fierce job market, giving you a direct route into a desired career or increasing your chances for promotion.

These courses are taught through lectures and seminars and will give you a Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert/PGC), Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip), MA, MBA, DMS or MSc qualification.

You typically need a lower second class undergraduate degree (2:2) or upwards to qualify for these types of programmes but in some cases relevant employment or research experience will allow you to do postgraduate study.
