Q1: Do I have to apply through UCAS if I'm a mature student?

A1: Yes, if you are applying for an undergraduate programme starting in September. If you are applying for a part-time undergraduate degree, an undergraduate programme starting in February, or for a postgraduate programme, you must apply directly to UEL.

Q2: Do I have to apply through UCAS if I'm an overseas student?

A2: Yes, if you are applying for an undergraduate programme starting in September. If you are applying for a part-time undergraduate degree, an undergraduate programme starting in February, or for a postgraduate programme, you must apply directly to UEL.

A4: You can start to apply for the February start programmes in October and at this time a list of the programmes available is published on the website.

Q5: As a mature student (over 21), do the UCAS tariff point entry requirements apply to me?

A5: No. As a mature student your application will be assessed on its individual merits taking other factors, like work experience, into account and you will normally be called for an interview.
