Fancy yourself to be creative? Why not create an image that expresses what you love about UEL? You could win £100 Amazon Voucher and your art published on the 2013 UEL Freshers Bags!
The My UEL “Design the 2013 Bag” competition is open to all University of East London students.
There’s no need to design the bag itself. View the bag to be designed.
Your image must be a 280mm(w) x 280mm(h) square. It can be a photograph, drawing, collage or a pattern.
When you’ve created your design, simply send a Jpeg or PDF (at least 300dpi) image of it to my_uel@uel.ac.uk with the subject heading ‘Design the 2013 Bag’.
The design must be your original work. The organisers will not be responsible for proof of originality of all entries, nor be liable for protection of design copyright. Each contestant retains sole copyright, and is therefore solely liable for his/her design(s).
The design must include both the My UEL and the UEL logos (download logos below). The logos must not be manipulated in anyway.
Contestants are welcome to submit more than one entry.
All entries must be received on or before 5pm on Monday 10 December 2012. No entries after this time will be accepted. The final decision on the receiving time will be determined by the organisers' email system.
The judges will pick four designs which students and staff will be able to vote for. The design with the most votes by 9am Monday 17 December 2012 will be the winning entry.
By entering the competition, the entrant acknowledges that their submission may be displayed on the UEL website/ Facebook and be available for viewing and voting by the public.
The winning entry will be produced as a bag to be given out at Freshers Week 2013.
The winner will receive a £100 Amazon Voucher. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
The organisers will not assume responsibility for any damage, loss of all entries due to electronic transmission sent by email.
The organisers assume no obligation, responsibility or liability for any expenses incurred by the contestant(s) as a result of participating in this competition.
Entrants will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions upon entering the Competition and will be bound by the rules.
