Collecting souvenir merchandise from the FIFA World Cup 2006 gave Andrew the idea to create a range of biodegradable packaging for London 2012. His ingenious concept won him the Royal Society of the Arts (RSA) Sustainable Packaging Award and runner up at Designer of the Year.
“My usual haunts are around the E1 area, be it picking up a curry round the back of Whitechapel hospital; beer and beigel down Brick Lane; strolling down Shad Thames for a coffee; visiting the Design Museum; noseying round Spialfields market; general traffic dodging on my bike."

Andrew Millar first got interested in studying Product Design at UEL after hearing one of our alumni speak at his old school. He graduated in 2007 with first class honours.
