School of Health, Sport and Bioscience

We are looking forward to you joining the School of Health, Sport and Bioscience (HSB). You will be joining over 2,400 students, studying a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in clinical, health, bioscience and applied sport programmes. You will be joining us at a time when we have just finished a round major investment in our laboratories, a £21 million, state-of-the-art sports facility at Docklands and enjoyed having the 2012 Olympic Games on our doorstep, with extensive use of our facilities by visiting international teams and companies.

During your studies you will also enjoy use of our modern facilities at Stratford, including the new Conference and Computer Centre and the new Library, which is to be completed in early 2013.

I am sure you understand the importance of building up a range of activities during your studies for your career and I hope you will use the opportunity to take advantage of our excellent national and international links with employers and other partners, opportunities to become involved in volunteering or become involved in our research activities.
