New to London? Don’t worry, both the Docklands and Stratford campuses are easy to get to and they provide great jumping off points for both days in the city and trips out to the countryside. Travelcards

The cheapest way for you to use public transport in London is with a Travelcard: these allow you to travel on the tube, buses and overground trains. Travelcards can be purchased at discounted rates if you buy them for a longer period of time – monthly, annually, etc. If you ask at your nearest station the staff will be able to advise you on the best option for you.

Enrolment

18+ Oyster Cards

If you are a full-time undergraduate student, you can apply for an 18+ Oyster card which gives you a 30% discount on adult rate fares. You can apply for an 18+ Oyster card online at www.tfl.gov.uk/photocard

Cycling

For an easy, cheap and healthy way to get around the city why not go by bike? London has many dedicated cycle routes, including several around both campuses. Bikes are also available for hire from UEL and the first 30 minutes are free!
