Waste & Recycling - Giving Businesses the skills

The Centre for Environment and Safety Management for Business (CESMB) has expertise consultants in developing projects, giving training and research into what a business is aiming for towards environment and safety management. CESMB’s goal is to 'help businesses and other organisations recognise how environmental management is a key factor in business competitiveness locally, nationally and internationally.' (18/9/08)

Background

The Waste and Recycling Project was set up by the CESMB to train and advise organisations who were interested in becoming more environmentally friendly, to get the staff and users involved, make sustainablility plans, to cut down waste and energy bills and be aware of new environmental legislations. CESMB wanted the involvement and input of Darryl Newport’s sustainability knowledge into the project to achieve these aims below.

Aim

Generate and provide leads, providing support with marketing, disseminating and recruitment of beneficiaries from London SMEs onto the programme.
