Quarter finals beckon for Netball 1sts

Interceptions and continued pressure from Karen Miles and Chanel Springer at WD allowed UEL to dominate from the off with Imperial only able to score 1 goal in the first quarter. It was a quiet day for defenders Jennifer Powell and Mary-Ann Ramsey in a game which saw an average of 1 goal conceded every 6 minutes. Sharp shooting from GS Claire Smith and player of the match Dani MacFarlane saw the UEL lead grow throughout the game. Combine all this with amazing stamina from Caroline Stabler and Alice Clark in centre court, resulted in a truly awesome performance from the netball 1^st team.
