The game opened up with an up-tempo pace with both teams getting easy shots.  UEL hit its first 4 shots, but only found their lead at 2 after 5 minutes.  George had a few spectacular passes in the opening period that excited the crowd.  The ball movement allowed Dougie and Will to hit back to back 3-pointers.  Westminster hit a lot of jumpshots to keep up with UEL in the opening period.  UEL led by 7 at the end of the first period, 30-23.

UEL took their intensity up in the second quarter starting with a full court press which disrupted Westminster's offence and caused them to turn the ball over numerous times.  UEL capitalised on these turnovers getting layup after layup to open up a 18 point lead 4 minutes into the second quarter.  George continued to get everyone involved recording 4 assists alone in 5 minutes.  Henry and Jamie came in making 3 shots each without a miss in the quarter to build on UEL's domination of the second quarter.  Westminster was outscored 32-11 in the second period giving UEL a massive lead heading into halftime, 62-34.

Shooting over 65% in the first half, it was going to be difficult to match in the second half for UEL but they started the second half hitting on their first 3 shots.  By this point Westminster players looked to be disinterested in the game and UEL had plenty left in the tank.  Will had the hot hand in the third period, scoring 10 points including 3 3-pointers.  UEL outscored their opponent 23-10 to take an impressive 85-44 lead into the final period.

UEL took the first meeting 90-60 away at Westminster earlier in the season.  This was by far UEL's best performance with everybody on the team contributing to the victory.  The defence of the 4th quarter took any remaining life of Westminster as they were held to their lowest scoring quarter of the game managing only 10 points.  To hold a team to 1 point per minute in the final quarter shows the endurance and ability to focus even in a lopsided affair which should bode well for UEL in the remaining games this season.

Will led all scorers with 21, Jordan and Dougie added 19 each as UEL entered the quarterfinals after a 110-57 victory.
