The first game saw UEL pitted again the University of the Arts on a wet and windy day in Chiswick. A closely fought match saw neither team able to dominate, but thanks to great defending from woman of the match Jennifer Powell, UEL pulled away in the last quarter to win the game 31-25. Fixture two was played at SportsDock against UCL. The girls easily controlled the game and were 9 goals up after just one 15 minute quarter. This lead steadily increased and the defenders made the headlines again with GD Mary-Ann Ramsay taking the umpires ‘player of the game’. Great teamwork throughout ensured a win with a final score of 66-25. Why not ome down and watch the next home game at 4pm on the 7th November at SportsDock?
