What are Sports Reps?
Sports Reps will play an integral role in building, supporting and moulding a fantastic Campus Sport Programme at UEL. You will liaise closely with all students, other Sports Reps and the UELSports team to ensure a team of students from your respective Halls of residence and/or School/Service is entered into each respective Campus Sport event.
UELSports grows bigger and better each year and we hope as Sports Reps, that you will help us achieve our aspiration of becoming the best university for sport in London by 2015.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate a team of students from your Halls of Residence or school/service and compete for the Campus Sport Champions title. Sports Reps must ensure their teams enter in a minimum of 6 events per year. (ESSENTIAL).
- Encourage and promote participation in Campus Sport through social media, word of mouth, flyers and posters.
- Attend, participate, support and/or assist with Campus Sport Events (a minimum of 6 events per year) .
- Attend Sports Rep Council meetings.
- Provide a link between staff and students.
Essential Criteria
- Current UEL student.
- A passion for sport & student representation
- Clear leadership skills
- Be encouraging, motivational and enthusiastic
- Good team-work skills
- Some previous sports leadership/leadership experience (Desirable)
- Confidence to approach and speak to fellow UEL students.
