What are Sports Reps?
Sports Reps will play an integral role in building, supporting and moulding a fantastic Student Sport Experience at UEL. They will liaise closely with all students, other Sports Reps and the UELSports team to ensure UELSports grows bigger and better and achieves its aspiration of becoming the leading university for sport in London by 2015.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Improve the halls, schools and campus sport experience for students.
- Encourage and promote participation of students from your halls, school/service through social networking to participate in Campus Sport, Physical Activities, UEL Sports Clubs and Try a Sport.
- Ensure that your hall, school/service or group is represented by as many teams as possible in the Campus Sports events.
- Attend, participate, support and/or assist with Campus Sport Events
- Attend Sports Rep Council meetings and be an active member.
- Use different mediums to promote UELSports to students, including word of mouth, flyers, posters, social networking and other forms.
- Provide a link between staff and students.
- Input your ideas, initiative and experiences into the UELSports annual plan/development plan
Essential Criteria
- Current UEL student.
- A passion for sport
- A passion for student representation
- Clear leadership skills
- Be encouraging, motivational and enthusiastic
- Good team-work skills
- Some previous sports leadership/leadership experience (Desirable)
