UEL Study skills module

Your Level 1 study skills module has been designed to ensure that you are taught and have the opportunity to practice and develop skills necessary for academic learning in Higher Education, employability in preparation for careers after leaving university and research. The module will be subject-specific (e.g. Skills for Business, Skills for Academic Learning in Law) and will give you an opportunity to self-reflect and learn new skills.

The European Computer Driving License (ECDL)

The European Computer Driving License (ECDL)

UEL offers students the opportunity to gain the ECDL, which is a qualification designed to improve your basic IT skills, helping you with your coursework and with getting a job. John Smiths Bookshop

There is a range of books on academic writing, referencing and other topics at the campus bookshop at both Docklands and Stratford. New undergraduates are entitled to a free study skills book, and one free textbook for every module you study.
