

Maggie oversees the team’s strategic links and delivery activities within schools, colleges and related educational organisations.
In addition to developing our strategic partnerships, Maggie is also involved in a number of special projects within UEL, including: looked after children projects, the development of data exchange frameworks, trust relationships and also supports the UEL Widening Participation Sub-Committee.
Maggie has a public sector background and has worked in Widening Participation for the past ten years. She is a member of FACE (Forum for Access and Continuing Education) and FRSA (Fellow for the Royal Society of Arts).

Sarah is responsible for the lead delivery areas involving Sports progression pathways, Looked After Children, National Scholarship Partner events and also has responsibility for all our press and publicity.
Sarah graduated from Brunel University with BA Honours in Film & Television Studies. After a short spell in live television, Sarah moved into Higher Education at the University of Hertfordshire and co-ordinated a Knowledge Exchange project bridging the gap between HE and the Film, TV and Media Industries. Following the completion of this project, Sarah moved into the Student Enterprise field at London Metropolitan University where she encouraged and supported entrepreneurial students to set up their own business.

Shepherd is the Lead Officer for a range of initiatives, including: UEL Compact Scheme; Curriculum Achievement Days; Continuing Professional Development schemes; and STEM focused events. He is also involved in developing activities and workshops for Schools and College students with particular focus on Years 10 to 13 cohorts.
Prior to joining the Schools and Colleges Team, Shepherd was an FE Lecturer in Biology and health related subjects, including Health Studies, Health and Social Care, Applied Science and Forensics.

Priya joined the Schools and Colleges Team in 2007 after completing her degree in English Literature. She is currently the lead in our Primary work and also supports the team for onsite visits delivering a range of activities to raise aspirations. Priya also supports on campus tours, HE and UCAS fairs.
Priya joined the team as a student ambassador while studying at UEL.

Prince is reponsible for organising the university's representation at higher education fairs, supporting on accreditation programmes such as compact and school or college visits, and developing our New Technologies initiatives.
Prince is a graduate of UEL, which gives him the ability to share his first hand experiences with students about the merits of studying in higher education and UEL in particular.
