Rising East Essays invites you to develop themes which we’ve started to address, make criticisms of positions taken by contributors, and initiate coverage which we would not otherwise have thought of. Unsolicited ideas are welcome, but please talk to the editor (a.calcutt@uel.ac.uk) before putting a lot of effort into writing them up.
