(Please note that until you have paid the full balance of your accommodation fees or agreed an instalment plan you will not be allowed to move in to your accommodation.)
When can I move into halls? If you are applying for a place for a main intake period (September or February) then your agreement will begin on the main intake arrival date.
Do agreements start at the beginning of the accommodation agreement, or are there set periods? If you are applying at any other time of year then your agreement start date will be your individual move in date which will be arranged for you.
How do I collect my keys? You can collect your keys from the Residential Services Office during normal office hours. These hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 09:00hrs and 17:00hrs. You will need to have accepted your room offer and either paid in full or set up a Direct debit for instalments online via UEL Direct prior to being given keys.
For the September intake period you will be able to move in for the weekend of 14th and 15th September prior to UEL's Welcome Week. The office hours for Saturday 14th will be from 08.30 until 1700 and on Sunday 15th between 10.00 and 1700.
Can I move in early? Your contract begins on the date shown on your accommodation agreement, therefore you are not permitted to move in prior to this date.
If you are an international student arriving in the country before the date shown on your agreement you will need to find alternative accommodation until your contract start date.
