I’m an international student. What do I need to do to get an accommodation letter supporting my visa application? Confirmation that you have made the necessary advance payment of £750 deposit / advanced rental for on-campus accommodation will be included on your visa letter, issued by our International Admissions office. If you require further information about the issuing of your visa letter, contact the International Admissions team at admintl@uel.ac.uk
For International Students who are unable to secure a visa and provide documentary evidence to support this claim, your advanced rental payment (not the accommodation deposit) will be refunded from the date UEL is provided with this information. Please note that if this information is not received until after the start date of your accommodation agreement you will be liable to pay rent on the room offered until the documentary evidence is received.
What happens if after I arrive I decide I want to live off campus? You are liable to pay for the full accommodation period except in this instance.
If you are studying for a full year then you cannot apply for one Semester only, just the Full year. You cannot break your Agreement after one Semester. You can only apply for one Semester if you are studying for just one Semester.
