Trusts and Foundations are charitable organisations that award grants. There are almost 10,000 Trusts in the UK collectively donating more than £3.5 billion annually. Most are small, but the largest 500 trusts donate over £3 billion annually.

Companies
Company giving in the UK amounts to over £1 billion annually, including gifts in kind, advice and support, employee time and cash donations. Many large companies have founded independent charitable trusts to manage their giving.
The value of the relationship to the company is crucial, so as well as general and specific business knowledge, it'll help to know about added value and impact. There are a variety of funding options that include companies, especially small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs), such as Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP). The ReDS team can help.
